Armistice Ceremony

Dear parents and carers

As planned our pupils and staff took part in the Armistice ceremony this morning in Brackley. We feel it important that pupils play a part in such events to help them to understand the reasons why this ceremony takes place each year across the UK.

Our senior pupils read the names of the fallen and we heard poems from the primary schools. All pupils were exceptionally well-behaved throughout, even though there were some periods of waiting – students were silent and respectful throughout. We were all very proud of them.

Thank you for your support with this event. We have been asked by the town council to make this an annual occurrence, an invitation we will do our utmost to accept.

Yours sincerely

Mr I H Colling

Headteacher
