Safer Internet Day 2014 Youth Event

No10Pupils from MCS travelled to London on Tuesday to speak to advisors to the Prime Minister to give their views on safety for children on the internet.  Year 10 students Harriet Kempson, Zach Da Silva and Eleanor Lee with advisors Chris Davis and Adam Wittich-Jackson were chosen to speak for their peers in a small group representing the youth of today.  They met with specialists at Microsoft's Head office to find out the latest developments in net safety before a meeting with culture secretary Laura Trott and David Cameron's special advisors.  The findings of their own school studies on internet safety formed part of the youth panel ideas on what makes for a better internet.
