It has always been our practice to offer assistance and guidance to ensure our students are fully equipped and prepared for the new school year. With this in mind we may be able to help families with the purchase of school uniform, through our uniform supplier, equipment, travel costs or help with the cost of school trips where there is a genuine financial need. This includes, for example:

• Families where children are eligible for free school meals
• Parents on a low income
• Families who are in receipt of benefits
• Other individual circumstances where there is an obvious need for assistance

Entitlement to assistance is not automatic; each claim is treated on its merits, and is entirely at the school's discretion.

• For students in years 7-11 Parents/Carers should complete the Financial Assistance application form
• For students in the sixth form please complete the Sixth Form Bursary application form

All forms and supporting documentation should be handed in to Waynflete reception. All applications will be dealt with in confidence and supporting documentation returned/copied as required.

Free School Meals

For information and to see whether you are eligible to claim free school meals for your child/ren please visit the Northamptonshire County Council website. There is also the opportunity to apply online. Parents of eligible students should still register for cashless catering (as per the instructions already given) but do not need to credit their account with any money. The account will be credited by the school with the sum of £2.50 per day, althought parents may supplement this with additional credit if they wish. The Brackley United Feofee Charity

Additionally, for families living in Brackley and Halse, you may wish to apply to the above trust as they have both an Education budget and one for Relief in Need. Proof of hardship may be required but all applications are treated in strict confidence. Please contact them directly for further details.
