A Level

Magdalen Sixth Form offers an academically focused post-16 curriculum which includes a broad range of A level subjects and other courses.  Every student's selection of 3 or 4 subjects at A Level is complemented by our Extended Project and Magdalen Scholarship programmes and our Core maths / statistical research methods course. We value learning to research, reflect and analyse in our subject specialisms and beyond.

Information on our courses can be found from our Post 16 choices booklet.

Details about current A-level courses on offer can be found on the Subjects and Boards page. Additionally click here for an overview of courses in Year 12 and Year 13:

Students considering joining the Sixth Form should also be exploring either the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) or aspiring to a place on the Waynflete Scholarship

The Core maths/ statistical research methods course is compulsory for most students, as it provides specialist teaching to support learning in multiple other subjects.
