At Magdalen College School Sixth Form, exceptional pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do. We know that students achieve their best when they feel supported, valued and confident, which is why we provide a strong network of guidance throughout their Sixth Form journey. 

A Dedicated Support Network 

All Sixth Form tutor groups are based at our St John's site, creating a close-knit and exclusive Sixth Form environment where students can develop independence while feeling part of a welcoming community. Each student has a dedicated tutor within a vertical tutor group, this allows our year 13 students to support the year 12 students during transition to Sixth Form life. 

Expert Pastoral Support 

Students also benefit from the support of our dedicated Sixth Form pastoral team Based full-time at St John's, whether supporting attendance, wellbeing, personal challenges or day-to-day concerns, the team is committed to helping every student achieve success.

Supporting Academic Success 

Our Thomas Godwin (TGC) Study Centre is fully supervised allowing students to develop the independent study skills essential for success at A Level and beyond with the support and direction of our skilled Sixth Form team.
