The exciting Football and Education Programme offered by Brackley Town FC in partnership with Magdalen College School is a collaboration to provide young, talented footballers with the unique opportunity to pursue your passion for the beautiful game while gaining valuable academic qualifications that will help set you up for a successful future-whether in football or beyond.
Our unique programme is now open for application for the September 2026 cohort of pupils currently In Year 11. It is a full-time, two year course that will equip you with nationally accredited qualifications and offers a great experience at a National League club.
There are many such programmes up and down the country and locally combining football development with academic study. The qualifications can take you on to college or an apprenticeship or employment or to university so it can be a great step post-16 in pursuing your love of football and keeping your options open for the future.
Our programme Is quite unique and provides you and parents/guardians with the reassurance of high quality provision under the banner of Brackley Town Football Club but also Magdalen College School. Our course provides wider opportunities for study alongside your football programme: you can follow the popular NCFE Sports extended diploma and resit your English or maths GCSE if needed or you can take the sports diploma with an A Level subject or even take several A level subjects. The choice gives you lots of flexibility - and the choice is yours.
We are holding a first Open Evening at 6pm on Tuesday 16 September at the club. A short presentation providing further information and an opportunity to have your questions answered is followed by an open invitation to attend that evening's Brackley Town first team National League Cup fixture against Manchester United U21 as our club guests. You will be most welcome!
